Follow the Dudh Koshi valley from Lukla, spend time in Namche Bazaar, and walk beneath Ama Dablam before reaching Everest Base Camp. The itinerary builds in acclimatisation time and keeps daily distances realistic, so the journey feels challenging but never rushed.

Sample itinerary
Mountain conditions shape every journey. Your guide may adjust timings to protect the group and make the most of the trail.
Days 1-2Kathmandu to Phakding+
Meet your guide, check equipment, fly to Lukla, and begin with a gentle walk beside the Dudh Koshi.
Days 3-5Namche and acclimatisation+
Climb into Namche Bazaar and spend a full day walking high and sleeping low.
Days 6-9Tengboche to Lobuche+
Pass the monastery at Tengboche, the stone walls of Dingboche, and the memorials above Thukla.
Days 10-11Base Camp and Kala Patthar+
Reach Base Camp, then rise early for the finest close view of Everest from Kala Patthar.
Days 12-14Return to Lukla+
Descend through familiar villages, celebrate with the team, and fly back to Kathmandu.

Altitude and fitness +
This is a high-altitude walking journey. Previous mountaineering experience is not required, but regular hill training and a gradual itinerary are essential.
Weather and transport +
Mountain weather can delay flights and change trail conditions. Keep flexibility after the trek and follow your guide’s operational decisions.
Insurance and documents +
You need travel insurance covering trekking to 5,364 m, emergency evacuation, medical care, cancellation, and interruption.
Not normally included +
International flights, Nepal visa, personal equipment, travel insurance, alcoholic drinks, guide tips, and costs created by itinerary changes outside our control.
