Questions before
the mountains.

What to expect before you book, pack, and step onto the trail.

How fit do I need to be?+

You should be comfortable walking for several hours on consecutive days. The exact requirement depends on the route, altitude, and season. We can recommend a journey after learning about your recent activity.

Do I need previous high-altitude experience?+

Not for our moderate tea-house treks. A well-paced itinerary and acclimatisation days are more important. Challenging high-pass routes benefit from previous multi-day trekking experience.

What happens if the weather changes?+

Your guide adapts the daily plan around conditions. We include sensible contingency time, monitor local forecasts, and will never continue simply to protect a schedule.

Are porters included?+

Porter support is included on our signature treks. We follow responsible load limits and work with established local teams. You carry a light day pack with water, layers, and personal essentials.

Where do we sleep?+

Most journeys use locally run tea houses with simple twin rooms and shared facilities. In larger villages, upgraded rooms may be available. We explain exactly what to expect before booking.

Can you arrange a private trek?+

Yes. Private journeys can adjust dates, pacing, accommodation, and add cultural or wildlife experiences before or after the trek.

What is not included?+

International flights, travel insurance, Nepal entry visa, personal equipment, alcoholic drinks, guide tips, and expenses caused by events outside the planned itinerary are normally excluded.

What travel insurance do I need?+

Choose a policy that explicitly covers trekking up to your itinerary’s maximum altitude, emergency evacuation, medical treatment, cancellation, and trip interruption.
